As you scroll down the left-hand sidebar of images, you will discover an odd change in styles as pieces go from grand scale and polished to diminutive and created from recycled steel.  James has decided to offer a limited number of this one-of-a-kind sculptures that were originally created specifically for a special galley show.   These sculptures are a unique sidebar to his well-known style and are sure to become rare pieces in his overall collection.

These unusual pieces required James to think in an entirely new way.  Instead of sketching, drawing, and calculating, he had to create 'on the fly', but he didn't want this new work to simply be 'junk welded together'.   Technically, these pieces are assemblages created from rusty steel, transmission parts, and found steel, but we hope you agree that the final forms of these sculptures reach the level of fine art.
