Pasiphae Awaits Her Father
Stainless Steel, Painted Steel, and White Stone

Approximately 48" x 15" x 12"

This creation was one of James' earliest works.   It was the FIRST piece he brought to a gallery, Gallery Mack in Seattle, Washington.   It is the one piece he neglected to take a photograph of, and, of course, it sold within days of being shown.   The gallery cannot find a record for it, but it was sold to someone in the Midwest.

The piece rises up from a white, triangle-shaped stone. It is steel that is painted blue and begins with a very small base, curving up and getting larger.   At the top, there is a large oval of stainless steel.
